Coming from a family of small business owners in the steel drum distribution industry, she grew up in a factory environment where employees were considered part of the family. Alyssa commenced her career at Vanguard, where she established a track record of frequently executing multi-billion-dollar market-moving trades both algorithmically and verbally, accumulating personal execution experience exceeding $2 trillion. Her journey from Vanguard to leading hedge fund sales at State Street Global Advisors showcased her leadership in fixed-income trading, portfolio management, and successful business building. During her MBA at Yale School of Management, Alyssa delved into the Search Fund model, discovering it as the pathway to fulfill her leadership and entrepreneurial ambitions.
