Joshua Ahrens

Josh Ahrens has partnered with search accelerator NextGen Growth Partners to search for and acquire one enduringly profitable business. Prior to his time at NextGen GP, Josh served nine years as an Army Captain AH-64D Attack Helicopter Pilot where he had many overseas deployments including one deployment to Afghanistan. During this time he led and managed a 65-person team and oversaw $250M in equipment while accruing 900+ flight hours across helicopters and UAVs. Josh learned about ETA during his first semester at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business' MBA program where he would go on to complete numerous related ETA coursework, attend conferences, network with searchers, and really got ingrained in the space. Josh would go on to get relevant M&A experience with an Associate position in Wells Fargo's investment banking group.
