Rafael Pacheco

Rafael Pacheco is a seasoned finance professional with over 14 years of experience in the global food industry. Formerly the CFO of SAMPCO, a $300M division of JBS North America, he brings deep expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and international operations. His career includes leading initiatives across Japan, China, and Brazil—ranging from launching import operations in Tokyo to managing anti-dumping investigations and overseeing multi-country finance functions. Rafael holds a Master’s in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a CPA. At LUZ Capital Partners, he plays a key role in acquiring and scaling businesses.
