Sharf Zafar

Sharf comes from an entrepreneurial immigrant family that relocated to the US in the late ‘90s. He drew inspiration from his brother's entrepreneurial journey in the US and the impact of investing in technology. He embarked on an international career, spending eight years in Singapore and London, leading corporate turnarounds for a Global Bank. With exposure to acquisitions, scaling, and successful exits, he pursued an MBA from INSEAD, discovering the potential of the Search Fund. Most recently, Sharf worked as a Director of Corporate Strategy for the Royal Bank of Canada. In this role, Sharf spearheads M&A and growth strategy for SMB businesses, positioning him well for acquiring and growing a mid-sized company. Based in Toronto, he enjoys his time traveling, connecting with people, and organizing social events for INSEAD alumni.
