Tom Fernan

Tom Fernan is the President and CEO of Pittsburgh-based sleep care practice Pittsburgh Dental Sleep Medicine (PDSM). PDSM is Tom's second acquisition, having acquired and run RAK Associates starting in 2006, which he eventually sold and exited in 2017. Tom was an early advisor and member of the GT Entrepreneurs team. He has since bought out GTE's share of the PDSM deal. Prior to becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Tom spent several years working as a Quality Engineer with IBM. Tom holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper Business School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
